The Intercompany Accounting Analyst will be responsible to ensure accuracy and completeness of all the Due To and Due From transactions between the company and its affiliates around the world.
Specifically, this individual will be responsible to avoid aging of Intercompany transactions, ensure balance tie-out across affiliates and reporting to the Local and Global Controllership teams within Healthcare. Additionally, the candidate will be in charge of completing the account reconciliations for all the Intercompany accounts to ensure balance accuracy in line with Statutory, IFRS and US GAAP accounting requirements.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible  for  the  day-to-day  Intercompany  transactions.
• Responsible for clearing any errors, rejects, or on holds for internal invoices.
• Work with the counter parties to find the resolution of DTDF issues.
• Responsible for the DTDF related account reconciliations and closing open items.
• Analysis  of  key  balance  sheet  accounts  during  closing  process.
• Prepare tax report
• Responsible for data transfer between different systems (Corporate AS400, Oracle and Internal billing systems).
• Responsible for DRs, tax schedules and other reports.

• Interpret finance risks & opportunities to local circumstances & present workable solutions

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or other business related field and 3 years progressive accounting or finance experience; OR high school diploma / GED and 5 years accounting or finance experience
2. Committed to achieving deliverables and accountable for deadlines, while demonstrating a sense of urgency.

3.       Clear thinking/problem solving:  successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas

4. The candidate must  be  willing  to  submit  to  a  background  investigation,  including  for  example,  verification  of  past  employment,  criminal  history,  and  educational  background.
5. Additionally, the candidate must be  legally  authorized  to  work  in  Canada and willing to work at the Mississauga, ON facility.
