Peter Blitz, Founder and CEO

"I love making software because it's an exercise in pure creativity. We start with nothing and create something that improves the lives of thousands of people. It's incredibly rewarding." Peter has pioneered recruiting and staffing software since 1996 and is the chief architect for MaxHire. Graduating from Stanford University in 1992, Peter thrived in the brain-boom of the emerging dot-com culture and has never looked back. He fosters an out-of-the-box entrepreneurial spirit in every detail of the company. Named one of Vancouver's Top 40 under 40 and earning MaxHire a place in the top 20 fastest growing companies in Vancouver for the last 2 years running, Peter is as comfortable building a company as he is building software. His pal Lollie agrees.

Peter Blitz Adam Houghton, Vice President

Adam wears his pride on his sleeve. And for good reason. He's been with MaxHire since day one, when it was just two employees – well, three if you count pets. A graduate of the University of Victoria, Adam is the operational backbone of MaxHire having successfully implemented over 800 new customers. He has a deep passion for creating process that guarantees the success of every new customer and is a proponent of the idea that "structure creates freedom".

Peter Blitz Cary Byman, Software Development Manager

Cary, or "Mr. What If..." as he's known throughout the office, has over 15 years experience as a senior software architect and developer. He is an expert in all-things-Microsoft and the genius behind the cutting-edge smart client platform that sets MaxHire apart. Cary directs a skilled team of senior developers and ensures every feature is "pixel perfect" by, you guessed it, pushing every boundary imaginable.

Peter Blitz Ben Erickson, Technical Support Manager

Ben has single-handedly built the MaxHire support department from the ground up to ensure the best possible support for all MaxHire customers. His passion for consistent excellent service and developing processes that ensures quality has earned the MaxHire support department a reputation as the best in the business. Why is he so passionate? We think the roof-top team meetings have something to do with it.
